My first question is :
Why is every missile user crying that this patch is somekind of a missile 'nerf'?
Answer N1 is :
Because every missile laucher cant FLY properly :) and they are all afraid to loose some ships while learning how to do that.
-This is a conclusion i made after i saw people with with blasters, and close range guns as a whole.I can say those people were FLYING.They were not keeping range,they were not orbiting,they were flying.
I am serious that people are really scared of learning how to fly as i am too.Because from what i saw it wont be something easy to learn,but i'll try my best :)).
Answer N2 is :
Because people dont read everything.

Lets go to boring part,the maths.
Lets make a small, simple calculation.
With max skills we will have the following changes in missile flight time as it follows :
1.Torpedos:
127km/2.813km/s=45sec approx , with 160sec atm
2.Cruise Missile:
253km/8.44km/s=30sec approx , with 37.5sec atm
3.Heavy Missiles:
127km/8.44km/s=15sec approx , with 40sec atm
4.Light Missiles:
63km/8.44km/s=7.5sec approx , with 25sec atm
5.Rockets:
15km/5km/s=3sec approx , with 10sec atm
With this change I see CCP going into the right direction.They say that there will be explosive raduis introduced from which the dmg will depend.Lets think about it.The torpedo as heavy missile will probably have a huge explosion radius,which from simple physics means it will do less dmg on a small plane than on a larger plane (i.e. frigate = '<' and battle cruiser = '>')
Following this conclusion for all types of missiles leads to a final solution of our question.
This will tackle ship classes: Frigs against Frigs , BSs against BSs ,....
So as i said before : People will need to learn how to FLY.
Dont be scared, I will try not to be.
I want to say that this is only my oppineon.If I'm wrong please correct me, cuz yet again I'm still fresh in the game.And I hope I dont repeat anybody since i really didnt had the patience to read all the pages saying one and the same thing over and over and over again.
